Here are a few from a great engagement shoot I had the other day,
I had an amazing weekend. I had the opportunity to shoot for my brother Russell’s Salon as well as K-Sera(a new boutique in West Monroe, LA) and Rain the Salon( a really hip salon in WM). I have been wanting to get my feet wet in the fashion side of things, and this was the perfect chance to try out all the ideas I’ve had in my head. Saturday, we shot for about 5 hours and Sunday 12! I was absolutely worn out, but It was totally worth it. Here are a few of my favorites from Saturday & Sunday.
Here are my favorites from Sunday. I’ll be putting all of the images online for viewing in about 2 weeks. For all the models interested in purchasing prints, you’ll be able to do that then. If you are wanting any of these for web use(ex: my space), feel free to copy these off of the blog. Please do not try to print them….this is for web use only
My brother came in from Huntsville, AL last night for a photoshoot today. These are for his new salon.
I had an amazing shoot today. At first, I was disappointed because it was raining and I had really wanted to shoot outside. Because of our schedules, this was the only day we could shoot, so I used this as an opportunity to try some new things, and push myself out of where I’m comfortable. Needless to say, we had a blast. Natalie is beautiful inside and out and you can see that in her photos.
I’m shooting her bridals today…..I’m very excited!
This past weekend was my 10 year High School Reunion. I must say, I really had a good time. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was more fun than I thought it would be. It’s funny how 10 year can change people so drastically. No one was really worried about who they were talking to. It was great to see people who would have never been seen together, talking and having a great time. I think that at freshman orientation, all freshman should be required to attend a 10 year reunion. It would be great if we would have realized how really unimportant so many of the worries we had were. I’m glad I went, and I can’t wait for my 20 yr!
Also, I’d like to thank Michael for shooting this event for me. It was nice to not have to think about photography for a night! Visit his site: www.mnjordan.com

Kellie & Cameron are such a cool couple. The wedding day was laid back and full of lots of laughing and happy people. My kind of wedding. They pretty much gave me free reign to do what I wanted, so that was nice. The wedding was at the oldest church in Shreveport, Holy Trinity, which is always a beautiful place to photograph. The reception was happening(as most catholic weddings are!) I left around midnight with a smile on my face because I had so much fun…..I love my job!
